Improvement!

Constant improvement.

I may have a brain injury, but yesterday I proved that it would not stop me! I arrived on campus early and managed to do some reading at the library before class. Then I went for lunch.

When I sat down for lunch, I got a nice surprise! A low battery on my insulin pump. So I had to go to the store on campus and buy triple A batteries and replace it myself. After I got that done I had a nice lunch solo mi. No distractions from conversation, just a quick refuelling.

My class went well too. I got an in-class assignment back and I got a 65%. Yes! Before you judge, remember that I have a brain injury and have one hell of a time trying to remember the simplest possible concepts. Plus, I was only getting 50s last semester so hurray!

After class, I had my volunteer shift at the Janeway hospital. At first, as I walked across the parking lot, wind smacking me in the face (cold, wet wind I might add) I considered not going. However, the smarter, more realistic, actual Morgan won the fight and I trudged on. Plus, I actually managed to do quite a lot of good when I went so it was well worth it.

On top of all of this, I slept very good last night. Overall I would say that my busy day yesterday was an overall success. Now I can rest up and look forward to tomorrow when I head back to school.
Now if only I can get a head start on this research paper.....

;)
